Design software tutoring from a working landscape architect.

I'm Andrew Harrell, a licensed landscape architect. I help students and professionals get confident in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Rhino, Grasshopper, and ArcGIS Pro. I also give landscape, civil, and architecture firms extra production capacity when they need it.

Tutoring

Practical, patient, and grounded in real projects

Most software tutorials teach you where the buttons are. I focus on the workflow behind them: how a grading plan comes together in Civil 3D, how to keep an AutoCAD drawing set organized, how to turn a site question into a GIS analysis.

I use these tools on real landscape projects and present on them to fellow professionals, so every session connects what the software does to why it matters on a site.

Opportunities I'm interested in

If your work sits anywhere near land, design, software, or education, I'd like to hear about it.

Fractional & contract production

Landscape architecture, civil, and architecture firms that need an experienced extra pair of hands for a deadline, a busy season, or a Civil 3D-heavy project. How it works.

Design-technology collaborations

Software companies, AEC startups, and GIS or mapping teams building better tools for spatial design. I've shipped my own app and know the workflows practitioners actually live in, so I can help with product feedback, testing, content, or training.

Advisory roles

Startups, nonprofits, and ventures where landscape, land, design, software, education, or community overlap.

Teaching, speaking & workshops

Conference sessions, firm lunch-and-learns, guest lectures, and hands-on workshops. Topics and past talks.

Real estate & land

Commercial real estate, land, adaptive reuse, and small-scale development where careful site thinking adds value. Talk about a property or opportunity.
